8.0 Alpine Dry Rope

Mammut’s new lightweight double rope that replaces and builds on the legendary Mammut Phoenix series of ropes.   Designed to be used in pairs for multi-pitch climbing, mountaineering, alpine climbing, and ice climbing.  Can be used for either half rope or twin rope technique.  This rope features a high sheath percentage for extra abrasion resistance.  The added DRY treatment resists moisture in wet conditions to help maintain the ropes optimal dynamic performance, and also increases the life of the rope.  This rope achieves the much desired balance of high performance, lightweight, small diameter, and durability that you need for the versatility that alpinists are looking for in a double rope system that can do it all.  Mammut is one of the oldest climbing rope manufacturer’s in the world, has created a lot of modern rope technology, and Mammut ropes are world-renown for their amazing feel and rope handling characteristics.  There’s nothing quite like a Mammut rope.  Premium quality.
